Get to Know Tariq

Hey! I’m Tariq Peters, a Personal Branding Coach and creator of the P.H.A.S.E.S. Framework, a system that helps purpose-led founders turn their expertise into AI-powered personal brands that attract clients, press and paid opportunities.

With over seven years in strategic communications and media relations, I build scalable brand systems through sharp positioning, strategic content and AI integration that drive visibility, lead generation and conversion.

I’m a CIPR Accredited PR Practitioner and PR Week UK 30 Under 30 honouree, as well as a mentor and DEI advocate committed to diversifying the PR and comms industry.

Tariq Peters is a Personal Branding Coach and creator of the P.H.A.S.E.S. Framework, a system that helps purpose-led founders, consultants and expert service providers turn their expertise into AI-powered personal brands that attract clients, press and paid opportunities.

With over seven years of experience in strategic communications and media relations, he builds scalable brand systems through sharp positioning, strategic content and AI tools that drive visibility, lead generation and conversion.

Born in Hackney, East London, Tariq earned a degree in English Literature with honours from De Montfort University.

He began his PR career in 2018 as a trainee with the Taylor Bennett Foundation, later returning as a mentor to support underrepresented talent entering the industry.

In 2020, he published When the Dust Settles: How to Get a Job in PR After the Pandemic, with proceeds donated to Black Minds Matter. The launch was supported by PR Week UK, PRmoment and the UK Black Comms Network.

In 2021, Tariq was named in PR Week’s 30 Under 30 and joined the PR Week UK Awards judging panel.

That same year, he joined the first cohort of the PR industry’s BME Reverse Mentoring Scheme, a joint initiative between the CIPR and Taylor Bennett Foundation designed to drive structural change in the industry.

Today, he helps founders and experts turn their mindset, story and expertise into income-generating brand systems, combining strategy, storytelling and AI integration to turn visibility into influence and influence into income.
